Biograhy

Anson Hsu is an American filmmaker, handyman, mechanic, creator, and owner of Vantage Works. He obsesses about polymaths and pushes the idea of rapid-learning to it’s limits. While he embraces his many passions, his favorite thing to do is smoking cigars and learning. Welcome to Vantage Works.

Hsu was born into a Taiwanese/Japanese family in Queens, New York on December 4, 1991 and moved to Los Angeles at age 5. He dropped out of community college during his sophomore year at the age of 17 and did not return to school, nor graduate. Feeling purposeless, Anson spent the majority of his college days enrolling in unconventional non-interrelated classes from performing arts to engine building, instead of taking the required class to graduate, desperate to figure out what he wants. It was during this time Anson developed a unique set of skills that enabled him rapid learning, adaptability, and idea synthesis. Today he is a business developer, YouTube creator, handyman, and filmmaker.
